We're looking for a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to help drive performance, ensure compliance, and support operational excellence across a dynamic, high-tech environment.
In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, lead supplier improvement initiatives, and play a key part in ensuring the quality of our supply base.
We welcome candidates with experience in quality systems like AS9100/ISO9001, a background in manufacturing or supply chain, and a passion for continuous improvement. Don’t worry if you’re not familiar with every tool—we offer support and training to help you grow.
Your Impact
In this role, you’ll play a key part in improving supplier quality and supporting operational excellence.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities in cross-functional Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) across the external supply chain.
- Support the management of supply chain risks and opportunities, helping to reduce issues and enhance performance.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 Rev D standards, with particular focus on assessing and improving process effectiveness (PEAR).
- Identify internal procurement improvement opportunities that contribute to better on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
- Lead or support Supplier Failure Review Boards to help investigate and improve supplier performance.
- Assist in the roll-out and monitoring of our Supplier Surveillance Plan, promoting proactive and strategic supply chain management.
- Take part in regular reviews of supplier capability and performance.
- Provide support for a range of procurement and external supply activities as needed.
What you'll bring:
- Experience applying AS9100 / ISO9001 standards and continuous improvement methods in a manufacturing or supply chain setting.
- Familiarity with electronic manufacturing processes (IPC training is beneficial but not essential).
- Comfortable working with quality or supply chain data to support informed decisions—training can be provided.
- Experience contributing to cross-functional teams and supporting projects with a focus on quality.
- Exposure to managing product or supplier non-conformances and implementing improvements.
- Some experience with quality tools like 8D, APQP, PFMEA, or Lean. If you’re not familiar with all of them, we offer support and training.
- Understanding of procurement or supplier processes within manufacturing environments.
- Awareness of compliance and regulatory factors affecting the supply chain.
- Willingness to contribute to improvement and change initiatives.
- Experience in supplier or internal quality auditing (Lead Auditor qualification is helpful but not mandatory).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office. Familiarity with systems like SAP is great, but we also provide training.
