We're seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to play a key role in delivering high-end systems across three core capability areas:Secure Tactical Datalinks for critical communicationsSpectrum Monitoring Systems for RF analysis and managementBattlespace Technologies including COMINT, HF Direction Finding, C-UAS, and C-RCIED systemsThis is a technically hands-on yet strategically involved position working across the full product lifecycle from bids to delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesSystems Architecture & Strategy:Systems architecture definition and high-level designRequirements capture, analysis, and managementTranslate customer requirements into technical solutionsInterface definition and system performance analysisTechnical Leadership:Lead and guide multidisciplinary engineering teamsMaintain technical vision across complex projectsSupport bid processes and customer technical discussionsCross-functional collaboration and stakeholder managementProduct Development:Work across full development lifecycleSystem verification and validation activitiesTechnical documentation and specification developmentDesign reviews and technical risk managementEssential Requirements5+ years systems engineering experience (7+ preferred)Strong background in systems architecture and requirements captureExperience with full development lifecycle managementAbility to translate high-level requirements into system architectureTechnical leadership of multidisciplinary teamsSome knowledge of RF systems essentialBritish citizenship or eligible for UK security clearance (SC)Engineering degree or equivalent experienceWhat We OfferSalary: £65,000Annual Bonus: 3-6% of salaryHybrid Working: 3 days onsite in NorthamptonshireHoliday: 25 days + option to buy 5 additional daysPension: 5% company contribution (when matched)Benefits: Life cover, comprehensive packageHours: 40-hour working week
