Overview

The Video Engineer manages the customers video solution and requirements to produce outstanding reliable end to end video workflow and pipeline. You will contribute to the determination of technical and operational feasibility of solutions and project architectures. The role works within the Video team, leading OTT products and services provider delivering best-of-breed products and components as well as comprehensive end-to-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Quickly understand the technical solution
• Implement the video pipeline and validate the end-to-end flow
• Definition, documentation, and ownership of the end-to-end technical solution of a large implementation
• Managing the translation of business to technical requirements across multiple vendors ensuring all requirements are met
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of the capabilities of Diva and our services

Requirements

• 1+ years professional technology experience in the video industry with a background in web or application development
• Previous experience as a video engineer managing complex client requirements and multiple vendors
• An effective communicator with technical knowledge
• Experience in managing AWS video pipeline
• Experience with HLS + DASH + CMAF
• Experience with CDN (CloudFront, Akamai) and DRM configuration
• Comfortable working independently, well organised, have the technical attitude to learn innovative technologies
• Ability to multitask effectively using creative thinking to rapidly solve problems
• Ability to work and communicate with colleagues and clients

Plus

• Video workflow knowledge, AWS or others
• Technical knowledge on HLS, DASH, DRM, CDN, QoS
• CastLabs DRMtoday, Harmonic VOS360
