Overview

Initial 12 Month Contract – Long term work. Fully remote working. Remote working opportunity for an experienced Weight Control Engineer.

A Senior Weight Control Engineer is required as part of the technical team, to support the company's engineering activities on existing and new offshore structure projects, including conventional Oil & Gas, renewable and carbon capture initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and monitor weight for offshore facilities on projects, including the compilation of weight control reports and the weight control database for jacket, deck and foundation systems.
• Work across all design phases and on both greenfield and brownfield developments.

Qualifications

• You must be highly experienced in weight control activities across all design conditions and be conversant with principal design codes and standards, including ISO 19901-5.
• Familiarity with weight trends and typical values, and with other disciplines' standards and design processes, is advantageous.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment and engaging with internal and external stakeholders is advantageous.
