Service Desk Engineer

We're supporting a local business in their search for a Service Desk Engineer who enjoys problem-solving, working both independently and in a collaborative team, and is passionate about continuous learning. This role offers a mix of occasional on-site visits and a wide variety of hands-on experience supporting modern business systems.
Responsibilities:
Setting up and supporting small to mid-sized business networks (including VLANs and wireless networks).Providing remote and on-site technical support for Windows and macOS.Installing and configuring Office and Azure environments, including migrations and routine maintenance.Managing DNS, DHCP, and network folder permissions.Supporting and maintaining both server and workstation hardware.Occasionally travelling to client sites (a full UK driving licence is essential).Requirements:
Strong communication skills - able to support users clearly and professionally.Self-sufficient and organised - comfortable managing tasks solo or as part of a team.Experience supporting Windows 10/11, Windows Server //, and macOS.Experience installing and supporting Office , Azure, and Exchange.Managing DNS, DHCP, folder security, and permissions.Knowledge of Server and hardware support and configuration.Full UK driving licence
