Service Engineer

for the

This is a field-based role covering: Core Areas:

Leicester (LE), Peterborough (PE), Coventry (CV), Northampton (NN), Milton Keynes (MK), Hitchin (SG), Luton (LU) Occasional Travel:

Nottingham (NG), Derby (DE), Birmingham (B) What Youll Be Doing

Install, service, and maintain

automatic doors ,

industrial doors , and

shutters Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs Complete all job documentation via tablet (iPad provided) Participate in an

on-call rota (1 in 5/6 weeks)

with standby & call-out pay Maintain excellent customer relationships on-site Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards What Were Looking For

Essential: Minimum of 2 years experience as an automatic door engineer. EN16005 or BS7036 qualified (or willing to obtain) Confident with diagnostics and mechanical/electrical systems Full UK driving licence IT literate

comfortable using tablets and basic software Desirable: Experience with industrial doors (desirable) IPAF, PASMA or CSCS cards Experience with shutters, sectional doors, or fire doors Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills Whats On Offer

Pay & Hours: Basic Salary:

Up to £43,000 per annum (based on hourly rate) OTE:

£60,000+ achievable with overtime, on-call, and bonuses Hours:

Paid

door-to-door Overtime:

Time and a half, double time on Sundays/bank holidays On-Call Details: 1 in 5 or 6 weeks £175 per week standby pay Additional £50 if attending 4 jobs during standby £50 bonus for midnight callouts + 11 hours rest paid the next day Equipment Provided: Company van & fuel card Power tools, hand tools, uniform & PPE iPad for job management Screwfix card for materials Benefits Package: 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (option to buy 5 more) Private medical insurance
