Role: Service Engineer 

Location: Grays, Thurrock 

Hours: Full time, Temp

Salary: £15ph

We are looking for a Service Engineer to join our team in Thurrock. This role is hands-on, supporting customers and keeping equipment in good working order.

Duties of a Service Engineer:

  • Carry out basic servicing and repairs on equipment.
  • Help diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical faults (training provided).
  • Provide high-quality customer service and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with the Service Centre Manager and wider team to maintain high service standards.

    • What we would like from a Service Engineer:

  • Some background in mechanical/electrical work or interest in engineering.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • IT proficient (Microsoft Office).
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical issues clearly.
  • Reliable, adaptable, and self-motivated with good time management.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and ability to read technical drawings (advantage).
