will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance onvacuum, vacuum pumps, seals, filtration, centrifuge systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, valves, rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, or similar. in the Workshop and Off Site.

The

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer

will ideally have a Service background in electrical or mechanical engineering, such as, vacuum, vacuum pumps, seals, filtration, centrifuge systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, valves, rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, or similar.

Package £35,000 - £40,000 Company van Bonus 25 days holiday + bank holidays Company pension Overtime Additional benefits Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer Role To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of vacuum pumps, blowers and compressors at customer sites. The Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of vacuum, vacuum pumps, seals, filtration, centrifuge systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, valves, rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, or similarproducts and systems. Installing vacuum systems into all forms of the manufacturing industry. Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various vacuum equipment. Liaise with various engineering departments. Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer Requirements Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical engineering systems. Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Pump Engineer / Valve Technician / Electromechanical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar. The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers. Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous. Field servicing background in vacuum, vacuum pumps, seals, filtration, centrifuge systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, valves, rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, or similar. A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous. Willing to travel to customer sites to perform service, maintenance, and repair.
