The successful

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer

will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of pumping systems and associated equipment, including booster sets, pressurisation units, wastewater and sewage pumps, pump stations, and controls, primarily across London and the South East.

The successful

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer

will ideally have a background in servicing pumps, pump systems, and related mechanical/electrical equipment.

Package £42,000 OTE £50,000 - £60,000+ (including travel time and overtime) Overtime available Company van, fuel card, mobile phone 22 days holiday + bank holidays Additional holiday bonus potential Pension scheme Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer Role Carry out installation, service, and repair of pumping systems and associated controls in various industries, such as factories, data centres, hospitals, shopping centres, housing associations, schools and office blocks, or similar. Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and remedial/repair works. Commission new installations, including pipework, valves, pumps and controls. Respond to reactive/breakdown maintenance callouts. Manage control of van stock, parts, and spares. Attend scheduled call-out cover on a rota basis. Load/unload plant and equipment at the head office and on-site. Fully remote, covering a London and South East patch, including: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer Responsibilities Previous experience as a Pump Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Workshop Engineer, or similar. Experience with booster sets, pressurisation units, wastewater and sewage pumps, storm pump stations, inverters, and PLCs. Background with heating/chiller pumps, circulators, vacuum degassers, irrigation systems, and plate heat exchangers is desirable. Experience working within Building Services, such as: factories, data centres, hospitals, shopping centres, housing associations, schools and office blocks, or similar. Mechanical and electrical knowledge, with analytical fault-finding skills. Full UK driving licence. Willingness to travel around London and the Home Counties: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Willingness to work on a call-out rota and occasional overnight stays.
