The role involves UK-wide travel with occasional visits to their Rotherham site. Our client provides solutions to blue-chip manufacturers as well as small machine shops across the UK and Europe. Field Service Engineer Job Overview The Field Service Engineer will carry out preparation, modification, maintenance, repair and installation of CNC and specialist precision engineering equipment and tooling. Work will take place both at customer sites and in the company workshop as required. All tasks must be completed safely and to a high standard. The ideal candidate will come from a strong engineering background, be able to think on their feet, and provide clear diagnoses and reports of faults. They will be capable of determining required work or parts quickly and effectively to meet customer needs. Field Service Engineer Job Requirements Full UK driving licence - Essential Willingness to travel UK-wide - Essential Proven experience in a service/maintenance engineering role within a precision, CNC, or tooling environment - Essential Strong diagnosis and fault-finding skills Ability to work independently and problem-solve Engineering qualification / NVQ COSHH & Health & Safety trained - Desirable Field Service Engineer Salary & Benefits Negotiable salary DOE: £40,000 - £45,000 base (additional OTE available) Company van & fuel card provided (can be used for personal mileage) 8:30 - 4:30 working hours Discretionary profit-related bonus (paid twice a year) Company life assurance (x4 salary) Reimbursement of work expenses (including hotels, food etc. for overnight stays) Free uniform & on-site parking Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
