Maintenance Engineer looking to break into Field Service? Field Service Engineer seeking a better quality of life and less time away from home. We are seeking a Multi-skilled Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to service, install and commission industrial machinery and capital equipment across various sectors. This is a hybrid role split between our Petersfield site and client locations across the UK. The role offers a competitive salary, benefits package and strong job security.

Responsibilities

• Service, install and commission industrial machinery and capital equipment across multiple sectors.
• Split time between Petersfield site and client sites across the UK; perform scheduled installations and maintenance, and respond to reactionary service requests (often with short notice and occasional emergency breakdowns).
• During periods of training, visit principal sites across Europe.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled Electrical/Mechanical Engineer with experience working on production equipment from any sector.
• Exposure to packaging, process, inkjet, or automation equipment is a bonus; any PLC-controlled machinery is a good match.
• Broad engineering understanding with an operational understanding of PLCs (programming, debugging or fault finding not required).
