Bedford, Bedfordshire (Ideally located: Milton Keynes, Northampton, Biggleswade, Leighton Buzzard, Luton)

Are you a mechanically skilled engineer, looking to join a globally renowned company who will provide you with specialist on the job training and a long-term stable role?

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly varied workshop / field position, with a manufacturer renowned for supporting staff development.

This is a unique chance to work for a well-established company that works alongside blue-chip clients globally. Due to continued year-on-year growth, the company is looking for someone to join their highly skilled team to meet growing demands.

In this varied role, you’ll divide your time between the Bedford workshop and travelling to client sites across the UK and overseas. When on-site, you’ll deliver service and support directly to customers, and when based in the workshop, you’ll be involved in mechanical assembly work.

This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer seeking a long-term secure workshop role with travel, specialist training, and the chance to become a technical expert. Ex Forces or REME Mechanics are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintenance of mechanical machinery
• Workshop and field-based work
• Travel to client sites across the UK and overseas when required
• On-site service and customer support, plus mechanical assembly in the workshop

The Person

• Background in mechanical engineering
• Happy with travel and stays away
• Full UK Driving Licence
