Job Title: Setting Out Engineer – Groundworks
Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire
Rate: Competitive Day Rate (Own Kit = Higher Rate)
Overview:
Anglian Recruitment is working with groundworks contractor in the Newark area who is seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join their team on a busy solar project. This is a long-term opportunity with competitive day rates available – with higher rates paid to engineers supplying their own kit.
Role & Responsibilities:

Setting out for drainage, foundations, roads, and other groundworks packages
*
Working closely with the site manager and groundworks team to ensure accuracy
*
Completing QA documentation
*
Providing technical support and reporting on progress
*
Ensuring health & safety and site protocols are maintained
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on groundworks projects
*
CSCS card (essential)
*
Own equipment preferred but not essential (total station, laptop, AutoCAD etc.)
*
Ability to interpret drawings and communicate with site team effectively
*
Right to work in the UK
Rate:
*
With own kit: £350–£450 per day
*
Without kit: £250–£300 per day
