Role & Responsibilities: Carrying out PPM, reactive & predictive maintenance/breakdown analysisDealing with industrial processing & manufacturing equipmentWorking on such machinery / systems as:- conveyors, silos, blowers, presses, baggers, production equipment, mixers, industrial control systems, elevators, PLC's, fillers, robotics, 415V acElectrical & mechanical fault finding, analysis & repairPart of the 1 in 4 week call out rota (24/7)Work closely with the maintenance supervisor to prioritise PPM's, order spares / parts Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Must be a multi-skilled engineer - electrically biasedHave completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship - NVQ Level 3 or higherBe a problem solver, approachable, with good prioritisation skillsAble to react to breakdowns effectively, safely and efficientlyBoth electrical & mechanical fault-finding capabilitiesNeed to be comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, and using breathing equipmentIdeally have worked in food, FMCG, industrial fast-paced manufacturingFlexible character - willing to partake in an on-call-rota, work extra hours if neededExperience of heavy industrial manufacturing equipment/systemsWorked on compressors, bearings, shafts, gearboxes, chains, belts, blowers, rollersPLC - electrical fault finding skills "To apply please email your CV / resume to ( chrisg@hunterselection.co.uk )".
