This role is responsible for leading and coordinating maintenance activities across various shifts, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment, and providing technical expertise to resolve complex issues. The Senior Engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency within the food production environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement the Plant PPM program, utilizing RCA skills to respond to reactive tasks and promote a predictive maintenance culture.Supervise, control, and monitor the operation of electrical manufacturing equipment and systems.Ensure manufacturing, operation, and maintenance activities comply with design specifications and contractual requirements.Establish control systems to monitor the performance and safety of electrical equipment and systems.Communicate maintenance progress updates to colleagues.Maintain accurate records of tasks using the department's CMMS system.Adhere to food safety standards and ensure traceability of engineering activities.Support and guide Production Technical Operators in TPM activities.Collaborate with Production to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.Requirements:Experience in developing and managing Plant PPM programs, with strong RCA skills.Supervision and control of electrical manufacturing equipment and systems.Knowledge of compliance with design specifications and contractual obligations.Ability to establish and monitor control systems for electrical safety and performance.Effective communication skills for updating maintenance progress.Proficiency in using CMMS systems for record-keeping.Commitment to food safety standards and engineering traceability.Experience supporting TPM initiatives and continuous improvement in manufacturing.THG is proud to be a Disability Confident Committed employer.
