Shift Engineer - Electrical Bias

Canary Wharf, London £50,000 + Continental Shifts (Days & Nights 6-6, 4on4off)

We are currently recruiting for a Shift Engineer to join a leading M&E service provider on a prestigious critical site in Canary Wharf. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a great opportunity to work on a high-end site with state-of-the-art building services infrastructure.

You'll be working on a continental shift pattern (days and nights, 6am-6pm), ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all mechanical and electrical systems within the building.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain all critical building systems and environmental conditions at optimal levels. Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive and breakdown maintenance. Diagnose and repair faults on electrical systems including UPS, LV, generators, and HVAC systems. Monitor and adjust systems via the Building Management System (BMS). Manage and oversee subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Operate the Permit to Work system in line with health and safety procedures. Maintain accurate records and documentation through the site's CAFM/CBMS system. Ensure plant rooms are secure, clean, and comply with H&S standards. Proactively contribute to system and process improvements on site.About You:

Electrical or Mechanical Background and Qualifications Able to fault-find and resolve issues using graphical and alarm data. Strong awareness of H&S and compliance. Comfortable working continental shifts (days & nights, 6-6).What's on Offer:
