Location: Canary Wharf Salary: Up to £45,000 Shifts: Continental – 4 on, 4 off (Days & Nights) Holiday: 20 shifts per year Start Date: ASAP

We’re recruiting for a skilled Shift Engineer with an electrical background and proven experience in critical environments such as data centres, hospitals, or financial hubs. This position is based at a large, high-profile data centre in Canary Wharf, working as part of a strong, supportive FM team.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on M&E systems

*

Respond to BMS alarms and critical systems faults promptly

*

Perform fault finding and repairs across electrical distribution, HVAC, and UPS systems

*

Ensure accurate completion of compliance documentation and site logbooks

*

Liaise with the helpdesk, supervisors, and client representatives to ensure smooth operation

*

Assist with HV operations if authorised and follow site procedures diligently
