They are looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Shift Engineer that is electrically biased, to join their close-knit team.Role And ResponsibilitiesProvide electrical and mechanical support and repairs for all production equipment and site servicesCarry out PPMs, reactive maintenance and project workWorking on conveyors, food production and packaging machinery, PLCs, mixers, rollers, ovens, freezers, automation and controls, control panels, steam systems, robotics, wrappers, baggersCarry out planned maintenance activities to ensure plant safety and reliabilityDealing with pneumatics, inverters, compressors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, inverters, sensorsProject engineering: hands-on equipment upgrades and continuous improvementsUtilise the CMMS systems fully and assist in its developmentKnowledge, Skills And ExperienceMust be an experienced multi-skilled engineer but have a strong electrical biasedPreviously have worked in food or FMCG manufacturing/productionElectrical safety and LOTO experience in an industrial environmentQualified to HNC/HND level preferably or NVQ Level 3 Engineering as a minimumMUST have completed a UK based time-served apprenticeshipAble to work well under pressure in a busy manufacturing environmentPositive and driven characterKnowledge of continuous improvements and project workAble to work well under pressure17th or 18th Edition qualified ideallyWorking knowledge of CMMS systemsHunter Selection Limited is a recruitment consultancy with offices UK wide, specialising in permanent and contract roles within Engineering and Manufacturing, IT and Digital, Science and Technology and Service and Sales sectors.Please note as we receive a high level of applications we can only respond to applicants whose skills and qualifications are suitable for this position.
