Location: Central London (Static Site) Salary: Up to £55,000 per year Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Shift Work – Days & Nights)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Shift Engineer to join our team at a prestigious site in Central London. This is a static role involving rotating shifts, offering excellent salary and long-term stability within a well-established facilities management environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks on electrical and mechanical systems
*
Monitor and maintain building management systems (BMS)
*
Respond to emergency breakdowns and carry out fault finding
*
Support critical systems and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
*
Maintain accurate records of work completed and shift handovers
Requirements:
*
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
*
18th Edition (for electrical engineers) preferred
*
Experience in commercial or critical environment (e.g., data centres, hospitals, high-end offices)
*
Good understanding of HVAC, BMS, and general building services
*
Flexible approach to shift patterns (days, nights, weekends)
*
Strong communication and problem-solving skills...
