We are currently recruiting for a Shift Engineer, on behalf of our client, a leading Manufacturer. As a Shift Engineer you will be responsible for providing maintenance and engineering service support for the site whilst driving improved performance

Provide maintenance and engineering service support for the site whilst driving improved performance
Use strong diagnostic skills to identify mechanical, electrical, and operational issue, including interpreting technical drawings, using electrical testing equipment, and analysing data from PLC systems
Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure before it occurs, helping to maximise equipment uptime and reliability
Respond quickly to machinery breakdowns and stoppages to diagnose and repair faults on a wide variety of equipment Shifts
Shift work based on a 4-week shift pattern working a mixture of days and nights. Your Experience/ Requirements
Proven experience as a Shift Engineer or within a similar role
Ability to interrogate PLC code for diagnostic fault finding.
Multi-skilled with an electrical bias and relevant qualifications (C&G 2365 – 236, 2330, 2360 & 2351, C&G 2391, HNC or HND, 18th Edition).
Experience in high volume continuous production environments with PLC, pneumatic control, and strong diagnostic skills.
Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems, including motor drive controllers, fluid systems, and steam and condensate systems.
Experience with machines such as Bucher Apple presses, Tetra/Alfa Laval fluid equipment, Sidel & Krones bottle blow moulding machines, and more
