Job Description

A reputable and long-standing Civil Engineering contractor who, due to a period of sustained growth, have a requirement for an additional SITE ENGINEER / SITE AGENT to join their team on a permanent basis.

The business delivers a wide range of Groundworks and Civil Engineering packages, ordinarily ranging in value from £500k-£3m.

This position would suit a Site Agent from a Civil Engineering background (ideally with setting out capabilities), or an experienced Site Engineer looking to come off the tools and progress into management.

Role & Responsibilities

To manage simultaneous contracts, ensuring that they operate within cost, productivity, Quality and Health, Safety and Environment targets.

* Ensure contracts are delivered safely on time, within budget and to programme.

* Maintain a good relationship with clients to avoid disputes.

* Have a high level of commercial awareness related to the works.

* Assure that all work is carried out to company safety, environmental, and Quality standards and to regularly communicate with staff and operatives.
