Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team on a major bulk earthworks project based in Suffolk. This is a key role requiring immediate availability and proven experience in heavy civils, particularly topographical surveys, machine control, and 3D modelling.
Key Responsibilities:

Setting out and surveying for large-scale bulk earthworks
*
Conducting topographical surveys and producing accurate reports
*
Working with machine control systems to guide earthworks operations
*
Developing and managing 3D models using LSS or Trimble Business Centre
*
Interpreting technical drawings and liaising with the project and design teams
*
Ensuring accuracy and quality of data throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
*
Strong background in earthworks and civil engineering projects
*
Proficient in LSS and/or Trimble Business Centre
*
Experience with GPS machine control systems
*
Ability to work independently and manage own workload
*
CSCS Card
*
Own equipment preferred but not essential
Duration & Rates:
*
4 months minimum with potential for extension
*
Competitive day rates: £350 – £450 per day, depending on experience
