Job Title: Site Engineer Heavy Civils / Groundworks Location: Birmingham / West Midlands Rate: Up to £350 per day Duration: Long-term contract Overview: We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a commercial build project in the Birmingham / West Midlands area. The role will involve managing heavy civils and groundworks packages, ensuring all works are carried out to specification, safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Setting out for groundworks and civil engineering packages

Supervising subcontractors and ensuring works meet design and quality standards

Managing health & safety on site and promoting best practice

Interpreting drawings and technical specifications

Preparing site reports and maintaining accurate records

Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Engineer on heavy civils / groundworks projects

Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes

Proficient with setting out equipment and software

Relevant engineering qualification (HNC / Degree preferred)

CSCS card and SSSTS/SMSTS advantageous
