Job Title: Site Engineer (with ITP / Quality Assurance Experience) Location: Erith, South East London Employment Type: Permanent or Long-Term Contract

We are working with a leading contractor delivering a long-term clean water infrastructure project in South East London. They are looking for a skilled Site Engineer with proven experience in Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Assurance to strengthen their site delivery team.

Key Responsibilities Carry out setting out and supervise daily site activities to meet programme, budget, and quality targets. Prepare, review, and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for all site activities, ensuring strict compliance. Coordinate with QA/QC teams to schedule inspections and witness testing. Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on approvals, inspections, and quality requirements. Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and site progress. Identify and resolve technical or quality-related issues in line with project requirements. Ensure all works are completed in compliance with HSE regulations and method statements.

Qualifications & Experience HND or Degree in Civil Engineering. 3–5 years’ experience as a Site Engineer within construction or infrastructure. Strong background in ITP preparation and QA/QC coordination. Sound knowledge of construction standards, codes, and specifications. Proficient in interpreting drawings and technical documentation. Familiarity with project management or QA software advantageous.

Key Skills Strong understanding of quality control and inspection processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
