My client is a long established, leading, regional Civil Engineering Contractor. Due to planned growth and an influx of work in their Southwestern Region, they are looking to appoint, on a permanent or freelance basis a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer to work on a large marine civils project in the Bournemouth area. The project is due to commence in early September and the lifecycle is approximately 2 years. Although their preference would be a permanently employed individual, they would also consider someone that would prefer a long term contract position. Setting out roads, earthworks and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations) Assist with quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management) Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD.
