OverviewDeanston Cooper's client is a highly successful civil engineering contractor based in Glasgow who work predominantly in rail sector. Due to continued expansion, they currently have a requirement for an additional Site Engineer to work on rail related civils projects across the Central Belt which can include bridges, concrete structures, earthworks, scour protection works and platform works.ResponsibilitiesYour duties as Site Engineer will include:Providing engineering, technical skills and expertise to operatives, supervision and managementUndertaking accurate setting out and the management of setting out in line with the project programme of works.Interpreting engineering drawings and specification and ensuring the accurate construction of works in accordance with client requirementsAdvising the commercial team of any technical or engineering changes that could warrant a variation or cost changeEnsuring quality of the construction processEnsuring that all site works are conducted in a safe mannerEstablishing and maintaining good working relationships with the clientQualificationsApplications for the role of Site Engineer are welcome from candidates with:HNC Civil EngineeringSite Engineer experience gained working on civil engineering or rail projectsExcellent setting out skillsTechnical ability and good organisational skillsAbility to focus on targets and practical solutions #J-18808-Ljbffr
