This is a long-term, high-value project where meticulous planning and documentation are critical. The role focuses primarily on RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) and ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) rather than traditional setting out. The project involves the refurbishment of 10 docks at a naval base, offering a challenging and prestigious environment for an engineer with strong quality, safety, and documentation experience. Key Responsibilites: Develop, review, and implement Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS). Prepare, manage, and update Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) in line with project requirements. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. Liaise with the project management team, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure works are carried out in line with approved procedures. Monitor progress, report on quality and safety performance, and maintain accurate records. Support the project team in delivering works to time, budget, and specification. Ensure all documentation is compliant with contractual and regulatory standards. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Engineer on major civil engineering or marine infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of RAMS, ITPs, and quality/safety management systems. Good knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements on high-security or complex sites. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. SC (Security Clearance) or the ability to obtain clearance may be required due to the sensitive nature of the site.
