OverviewYou will be joining the Consumer Servicing & Engagement (CS&E) Platform — a team dedicated to delivering a unified digital servicing experience for personal customers across their preferred devices. Our mission is to enhance the digital customer journey by driving engagement and enabling seamless self-service.Taking ownership of one or more areas within our cloud infrastructure is a key responsibility for Senior Site Reliability Engineers (SRE). You’ll lead and mentor other SREs in your domain, with a strong focus on observability and operational excellence. Your key responsibility will be to identify and prioritize service improvements that have the greatest impact on our Service Level Objectives (SLOs). What you’ll be doing
Manages the development and/or operation of significant aspects of the data management system with guidance from senior colleagues. Act as the lead for the SRE practice within the Engagement Lab, setting direction and standards. Line manages a team of SREs across India and the UK, supporting their development and performance. Own and continually monitor Engagement Lab dashboards covering incidents, problems, and changes. Lead ServiceNow governance activities, ensuring data is accurate, compliant, and regularly updated. Own and monitor applications in SNOW, including dependencies, CIs, and CMDB records. Provide evidence for controls, oversee NexusIQ scans, monthly infrastructure scans, and other source code controls. Ensure SNOW records and change requests are compliant with internal governance and regulatory expectations. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including the Platform SRE team, to align on tooling, processes, and risk mitigation.
What you’ll need
Proven experience as a Lead SRE, with a track record of managing distributed teams. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including risk and change, incident and problem modules. Strong understanding of GCP cloud engineering, including orchestration and infrastructure automation. Familiarity with Python and scripting for automation and monitoring. Ability to assess and mitigate implementation risks across interdependent product portfolios. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Nice to have
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). Knowledge of DevOps tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness). Ability to incorporate best practices from other lead SREs and technical communities.
