Job Overview

Join the ClearScore team as a Site Reliability Engineer based in London. The role is hybrid, offering the flexibility of remote work with in‑office collaboration.

What You’ll Do

Build and maintain a developer platform that delivers three nines of uptime to all critical services, supports over a thousand production releases per month, and scales intelligently.

Work on cutting‑edge technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD, and Kafka. Help the team adopt best practices in automation, networking, and containerisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and operate SRE tools and infrastructure to support production services.
  • Automate deployment pipelines, monitoring, and observability using tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Drive reliability and capacity planning for services running on AWS or a similar cloud.
  • Collaborate with software teams to integrate reliability best practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Investigate and resolve reliability incidents, and drive post‑mortem ownership.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong fundamentals in automation, networking, and containerisation.
  • Experience with Linux automation (BASH, Python) and distributed systems.
  • Hands‑on experience deploying and operating infrastructure on AWS or a similar public cloud.
  • Proficiency in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Nomad, Docker Swarm).
  • Background in software development with a compiled or interpreted language (Python, Go, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD workflows (Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.).
  • Experience with logging (Elasticsearch, Loki) and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
  • Bonus: Experience with Kafka, Confluent, and high‑availability configuration.

Hybrid Work Model
