OverviewWe\'re looking for an experienced GEO Payload Hardware Design Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the development of advanced satellite telecommunication payloads. This is a chance to work at the cutting edge of space technology, contributing to innovative solutions for high-reliability applications in orbit.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate within a multi-disciplinary engineering team to develop FPGA/ASIC-based GEO satellite payloadsLead hardware development throughout the full product lifecycle—from specification and design through to testing and validationUndertake detailed circuit design including schematic capture, component selection, and electronic simulationProduce engineering analysis and documentation (Derating, Worst Case, Reliability, Radiation, EMI/EMC Analysis, FMECA, Power Budget)Support hardware/software/system integration, test, validation, and qualificationDirect in-house and third-party PCB layout design teamsDeliver both prototype and production-quality manufacturing packagesExperienceStrong commercial experience in hardware product design within the space industryExpertise in high-speed digital design and SerDes interconnectsStrong understanding of LEO/GEO communications payloadsProven experience designing complex, high-speed circuits on high-density, multi-layer (10+) PCBsProficiency with circuit and PCB design/simulation toolsSpecialist knowledge in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:High-reliability design and analysis (Space, Military, Automotive, etc.)RF design and validationRadiation effects on electronic circuitry and mitigation techniquesDC/DC power supply designEnvironmental, thermal, safety, and EMI/EMC standardsPractical use of scripting languages (Tcl, Python, Perl, etc.)Bluestream People are an Equal Opportunities Employer and operates as an Employment Agency for permanent recruitment and an as an Employment Business for temporary / contract recruitment #J-18808-Ljbffr
