Want to join a collaborative tech company where innovation and curiosity are celebrated?
If so, we’re working with a fast-growing, science-led technology business that’s pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in materials engineering. This is a unique opportunity to work on truly novel systems that have broad-reaching applications across multiple high-tech sectors.
Why This Role is Great
You’ll be part of a close-knit, multidisciplinary team developing bespoke software for precision machinery and advanced material systems. The work is varied, impactful, and technically stimulating-giving you the chance to grow as a developer while solving meaningful challenges.
In this role, you’ll:
- Build and refine software solutions using C#, Dart, and other languages
- Develop operator and engineer-facing user interfaces

- Guide and evolve system architecture and design decisions
- Prioritise application security and system stability
- Respond to support queries and enhance existing features
- Document your work clearly for knowledge-sharing and maintainability
About You
You’ll thrive here if you enjoy working at the intersection of software and hardware, and value collaboration, autonomy, and continuous learning.
We’re particularly keen to hear from those with:
- 2+ years of professional software development experience
- Solid C# skills (additional languages welcome too)
- Experience working in a version-controlled, team-based environment (e.g., Git)
- A good grasp of debugging, troubleshooting, and system-level thinking
- Clear communication and a practical, detail-oriented approach
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific field
Experience in any of the following would be a plus:
- Software for industrial machinery or embedded systems
- User interface design or UX for technical users
- Machine vision or image-based automation
- Cybersecurity or secure coding practices
- DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud services
- Startup, scale-up, or R&D-heavy teams
If your skills are adjacent or transferable-apply! Passion, initiative, and curiosity matter as much as specific tools or titles.
