We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong product and engineering mindset to join our Treasury Markets team. Our team plays a crucial role in ensuring Wise offers fast, reliable, and cost-efficient financial products by securing liquidity and managing financial risks. Our Treasury Markets team is focused on enhancing our financial performance through automation, precise liquidity forecasting, and diversification of trading instruments. We work to ensure Wise can efficiently navigate financial markets and deliver value to our customers. We operate with a steadfast commitment to automation, programmatic implementation, and scalable design. We seek leaders who can think strategically about the entire ecosystem while also rolling up their sleeves to drive implementation, leveraging resources from across the platform tribe. As we grow, sustaining our trajectory requires ongoing refinement and iteration of our services with a focus on availability, security, and user experience. Extensive experience and proven track record in software engineering, ideally with a focus on financial systems or markets
Exceptional product mindset, able to balance customer-centric and data-driven approaches
Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot is highly valued
Experience with both relational and non-relational database design, including SQL query optimization
Advocating for best practices in code quality, continuous delivery, and robust code reviews
The successful candidate will onboard rapidly, bringing insights to help refine the team and tribal vision while contributing to the potent impact our products have on customers' lives.
