About the Role

 ​ We are seeking an entry-level Software Engineer I to join our team. ​ In this role, you will contribute to software development projects within a specific functional area or product line. ​ This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and supportive environment. ​

Responsibilities:

  • Write and review portions of detailed specifications for system components of simple complexity. ​

  • Complete basic bug fixes. ​

  • Implement development processes, coding best practices, and participate in code reviews under the guidance of senior engineers. ​

  • Collaborate with stakeholders in various development environments (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). ​

  • Resolve basic technical issues as needed. ​

  • Stay updated on new technology developments. ​

  • Perform other duties as assigned. ​

  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. ​

  • Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). ​

  • Familiarity with data manipulation languages and data modeling principles. ​

  • Understanding of data storage subsystems. ​

  • Knowledge of development languages such as Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .Net. ​

  • Awareness of test-driven development practices. ​

  • Strong desire to learn new processes and technologies. ​

  • Basic oral and written communication skills. ​
