Role: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Location: Remote, occasional travel which is paid

This is a newly created SDET role to work as part of a high performing engineering squad within a B2B SaaS-based organisation. The purpose of the role is to take ownership of test automation and help improve the quality, stability and reliability of technology products. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong technical background in test automation, combined with an understanding of software development and modern cloud environments.

Responsible for designing, building and maintaining automated tests for both UI and API layers, working with modern automation frameworks, such as Playwright. The role will also be responsible for mentoring and supporting manual QA engineers around test automation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in either a SDET, Software Development Engineer in Test, or QA Automation role within Agile (ideally product) based environments
• Hands on experience building Automation frameworks, any considered (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium)
• Knowledge of a functional programming language
