We are currently looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to work with a broad range of blue-chip companies and public sector organisations. As a Senior Java Engineer, you will be working on projects that employ cutting edge technologies and deliver high profile solutions that make a genuine difference to everyday life.

Senior Java Software Engineer – Key Details

  • Up to £70k salary.
  • 10-20% discretionary bonus.
  • Hybrid working.
  • Travel allowance.
  • Requires eligibility for SC clearance.

Responsibilities

A Successful Senior Java Software Engineer Will Have:

  • Strong object-oriented programming principles in Java.
  • Extensive experience in leveraging Java 8 features. Domain/Sector/Technologies/Vendors.
  • Detailed understanding of multi-threading concepts.
  • Hands on experience in implementing RESTful services using JAX-RS.
  • Experience in hosting and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes and AWS Auto Scaling Groups.
  • Experience in a position of leadership.

Qualifications

  • Strong object-oriented programming principles in Java.
  • Extensive experience in leveraging Java 8 features. Domain/Sector/Technologies/Vendors.
  • Detailed understanding of multi-threading concepts.
