Hamiltonian Dynamics is a start-up based in Gloucestershire, Manchester and London working in the Defence and Cyber Security industries. We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our growing technology team in our next phase of expansion.

Base pay range

A salary of £40-75k with an exciting array of projects to work on. The salary banding for this role is £40-75k, depending on experience. We may also consider more senior or more junior hires outside of this range — we will always be flexible for the right person.

Requirements

We are seeking someone who has experience in one or more of the following technologies but who is also open minded about learning new languages and technologies.

• Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Angular, React, Vue
• Docker, Kubernetes
• AWS, Azure
• MERN, Elasticsearch, Neo4J

We expect candidates to be UK citizens who have lived in the UK for the last 10 years and to hold a high-level security clearance.

Process

We have a three-stage interview process: a recruiter chat (up to 30 minutes), a 1-hour Teams call with two team members, and an informal chat with two of our Founders. We value organic conversation as part of a two-way recruitment process.

Location and travel

Customer sites are based in Gloucestershire, Manchester and London. You must be willing to travel to one of these sites.

The role requires you to already hold a high-level security clearance. The salary is £40-75k depending on experience. We may consider candidates outside this range for the right person.
