What You'll Do

  • Take ownership of end-to-end testing activities across multiple systems
  • Define an end-to-end testing strategy spanning web, backend, and hardware components
  • Create and execute both automated and manual test cases across multiple services
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and shared libraries
  • Write and review test definitions using Gherkin syntax, mapping to automated test scripts
  • Plan and execute manual testing activities for scenarios not covered by automation
  • Perform functional and integration testing on embedded devices and their interfaces
  • Support E2E load, performance, and stress testing efforts for critical services and systems
  • Create, log, and track defects to resolution with clear documentation and communication
  • Maintain test documentation, including test plans, procedures, and traceability matrices
  • Mentor junior QA team members and promote QA and automation best practices
  • Provide technical QA support throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and continuous improvement practices
  • Support gathering of requirements and writing of functional specifications

Requirements

  • Graduate in a technical field or equivalent
  • Proficient in a programming or scripting language (e.g. JavaScript, Python)
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining automation test frameworks
  • Experience with IoT applications and embedded device testing
  • Strong hands-on experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD platforms (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Familiarity with load and performance testing tools (e.g. k6, Locust, JMeter) is a plus
  • Proactive, hands-on mindset and willingness to take ownership
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical mindset, able to understand complex system architectures and interactions
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across multiple domains
