This role involves developing and executing effective technological software solutions for our customers, tailored to their needs. As a Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for crafting competitive solutions in the Smart Technologies space, building strong relationships internally and externally, and advocating for our full portfolio of technological solutions and services to key customer contacts.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for crafting competitive solutions in the Smart Technologies space, building strong relationships internally and externally, and advocating for our full portfolio of technological solutions and services to key customer contacts.

You’ll be helping to craft new solutions, testing them, and rolling out products for our customers that provide innovative, machine vision solutions for their retail or logistics challenges. You’ll need to be proactive in problem solving and understand the sales process, including how development time is billed within a business, to be able to influence the relevant sales team on pricing and time taken for projects.

• Conduct feasibility studies using machine vision software.
• Assist in project specifications and estimate smart technology (including machine vision) projects.
• Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements, challenges, and objectives. Provide tailored solutions and recommendations to address customer needs effectively. Deep dive into their needs by asking questions and identifying opportunities.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of the company's offerings.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams (such as Software Engineers) to design custom solutions that align with customer requirements and objectives. Develop proposals, technical documentation, and other materials to support the sales process.
• Collaborate with Engineers to ensure that product specifications align with customer needs, are scalable, and are up to date with latest tech requirements.
