Our Netherlands engineering team collaborates on work from our office once per sprint cycle.About the Role:As a Sr. DevOps Engineer you’ll have an opportunity to directly impact Recast’s future of cloud technology. Recast is building a highly available cloud platform and we need you to help us define and scale those innovations. Recast leverages Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps to provide high level code delivery and product delivery to both internal and external clients. This role will have a primary focus on our EU region and our product sets that are hosted there. While uptime and infrastructure availability are the highest priority, you will have a major impact on the direction of our EU infrastructure and how it integrates with our core product set in the NA region.What You'll Do:Maintain uptime requirements and SLA’s for our cloud infrastructurePlan and build reusable Infrastructure as Code to maintain standardization and scalability effortsWork within a global DevOps team to develop best practices in our Azure cloud ecosystemDrive Change throughout our DevOps process and infrastructure managementWork with developers to create/refine our build and release processesWhat You've Done:3+ years of DevOps or Site Reliability experience in a Azure hosted environment2+ years of previous experience in software engineering or infrastructure engineering2+ years of CI/CD pipeline experience (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)2+ years of experience with cloud monitoring solutions and automationWhat Stands Out:Understanding of coding languages, specifically .NetUnderstanding of scripting languages (PowerShell preferred)Infrastructure as code experienceAzure BicepExperience in containerization technology such as Kubernetes2 years of SQL Database (hosted or cloud) managementExperience with Cloud Networking (load balancing, WAF, FW, etc.)What We Value:We take initiative.
