Elastic’s cloud-based solutions cover search, security, and observability.What Is The RoleThe Marketing Innovation team develops and maintains innovative internal applications to improve marketing efficiency and execution. Our flagship app is a homegrown platform that integrates campaign planning, performance reporting, automation, and audience management. We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Application Engineer who will serve as the primary technical owner for the application, lead other engineers, and collaborate with Technical Program Managers (TPMs) and users to deliver the roadmap.What You’ll Be DoingBe the lead engineer and architect for the application (React/TypeScript).Translate business requirements from marketers and TPMs into scalable, intuitive, and high-performance features.Own technical strategy, design, and implementation; ensure the platform is modular, maintainable, and performant.Collaborate with back-end engineers and infrastructure teams to sustain a smooth development lifecycle.Lead technical planning and estimation, prioritizing work based on impact, feasibility, and dependencies.Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and raise the engineering bar with thoughtful feedback.Partner with leadership to craft the vision, roadmap, and technical stack of the platform.Help consolidate marketing tools, reduce SaaS dependencies, and deliver custom-built, natively integrated applications for business needs.What You Bring6+ years of experience as a full stack engineer, with deep expertise in React and TypeScript.Strong understanding of technical architecture, performance optimization, and building modular component libraries.Experience leading technical projects and collaborating across functions (PM, TPM, Design, etc.).Comfortable in cloud environments and integrating with back-end systems (ideally Google Cloud Functions, RESTful APIs).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-style workflows.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.Passion for continuous improvement, creative problem solving, and delivering delightful internal tools.Bonus PointsFamiliarity with Google Cloud services (e.g., Cloud Functions, BigQuery)Experience building data visualizations and analytics dashboardsHands-on work with no-code/low-code integration tools or automation platformsExposure to back-end development using Node.js or PythonExperience with Next.js for modern web applicationsFamiliarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., Elasticsearch)Experience integrating AI capabilities into applicationsAdditional Information - We Take Care Of Our PeopleAs a distributed company, Elastic values diversity and strives to balance great work with great life.
