We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Project Controls Engineer to support the delivery of projects with various complexity. The successful candidate will bring a strong foundation in project controls, advanced Excel capabilities, and a proven track record of working under NEC contract frameworks. This role demands stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage data-driven performance reporting across projects of varying complexity.

Your Purpose:

Planning & Scheduling -
  • Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Excel.
  • Conduct critical path analysis, float management, and schedule risk assessments.
  • Support short-term lookaheads and long-term baseline planning.

Cost Control & Forecasting -
  • Monitor project budgets, actuals, and forecasts.
  • Perform earned value analysis and variance reporting.
  • Support cost trending, accruals, and change control processes.

Contract & Commercial Support -
  • Apply working knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts in project delivery.
  • Support contract administration, compensation events, and programme submissions.
  • Liaise with commercial teams to ensure alignment between cost and contract data.

Stakeholder Engagement -
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and commercial leads.
  • Present project controls data clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support governance and assurance reviews.
