This is a fantastic opportunity to join a major organisation as they rebuild their Digital Experience Platform, moving away from a legacy monolithic system to a modern, cloud-native, customer-first solution. You'll play a key delivery-focused role, supporting multiple squads and working alongside Principal Engineers and senior stakeholders to deliver complex, high-impact initiatives. Ideal Candidate: Proven experience as a

Senior/Staff Engineer

within web and mobile application development

Strong expertise in

React

and

NestJS

(frontend-weighted, 60% web / 40% backend)

Experience designing and delivering

micro frontend architectures

with module federation

Deep knowledge of

CI/CD, automation, and testing frameworks

across unit, integration, E2E, and non-functional testing

Cloud-native expertise, ideally

GCP

or

Azure

(open to AWS)

Skilled in

Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform

Knowledge of

secure development practices , OWASP, authentication/authorisation

Familiar with mobile frameworks (e.g. Ionic Capacitor)

Strong track record of technical leadership and mentoring across squads

Able to engage stakeholders up to C-suite level, influencing without direct authority

Partner with the Principal Engineer (strategy-focused) to shape technical direction

Drive engineering quality, security, scalability, and best practices across squads

Act as a mentor, challenger, and enabler - showing teams
