Overview

We are supporting a Fintech product company and are looking for a Staff/Lead Full-Stack Engineer to work on the core platform and AI applications. The platform combines cutting-edge language models with structured financial data and intuitive interfaces to help private equity and private debt professionals analyse deals.

The role focuses on building features, refining workflows, and pushing the boundaries of what AI can do in financial analysis. Clients are high-value, high-intensity users paying premium licenses for quality, enabling the team to build with care and deliver tools that move the needle.

Responsibilities

• Develop elegant, responsive frontends in React and robust backends in Python/Django.
• Integrate AI tooling and LLm-powered features, making complex capabilities feel simple and intuitive through thoughtful UX and clean architecture.
• Contribute to product evolution and shape the direction of the product and business.
• Work with real deal documents (due diligence reports, pitch decks, financials, legal contracts) to build systems that go beyond traditional retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Collaborate with a small, growing engineering team and active users to deliver high-quality features.

• Currently 4 developers (mix of junior/senior, AI and product engineers) + CTO
• Growing to 8 developers over the next 9 months

The Role

As Lead / Staff Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of product evolution and play an integral part in the direction of the product and business. You’ll build elegant interfaces in React and robust backend systems in Python/Django and make AI capabilities feel simple and intuitive through thoughtful UX and clean architecture.

Fluency across the stack with experience integrating AI tooling and working with LLM-powered features is very important.

Salary up to £135,000 and fully remote.
