What you’ll do

  • Design and deploy advanced LLM-powered applications that support our Payroll product lines and operations.
  • Lead architecture decisions, cost optimization, and observability for mission-critical AI workflows.
  • Collaborate with ML researchers, product managers, and application engineers.
  • Create massive impact by doing ground-breaking work in an already high-scale product.

You’ll bring

  • 12+ years of engineering experience, with a strong focus on system design
  • At least 1.5 years building production-grade LLM applications
  • Python expertise for AI/ML development
  • Node.js familiarity for integration with application teams
  • Deep experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.)
  • Prompt engineering, LLM API integration, and system reliability patterns
  • Observability tooling for AI systems
  • Hands-on experience (2+ years) implementing research and algorithms in Python, specifically in information retrieval, text processing, NLP, LLMs, and machine learning

Bonus if you have

  • RAG implementations, agentic workflows, LangChain/CrewAI
  • Cost tracking and optimization for AI/LLM infra
  • Pre-LLM ML/deep learning experience
  • Multimodal system exposure
