Staff Software Engineer – Net-Zero Carbon – Full Stack (Salary up to £120,000 plus stock)

Location: London – Hybrid (2 days a week in the office)

Tech stack: Typescript, React, Node, GraphQL, GCP

Overview: We are working with an amazing Carbon Neutral, B-Corp certified start-up to find a Staff Software Engineer to join their small, experienced engineering team. They have received over $10m in funding in the last two years and, as they reach break-even in the original market, have exciting tech challenges in scaling their sustainable platform as they expand their reach.

Role: As a Staff Software Engineer in a start-up, your role will be multi-faceted:

• Designing and building new features to improve the lives of everyone who uses the platform, whether it's fellow employees or customers.
• Improving tooling and infrastructure to make it easier to scale.
• Collaborating with colleagues in engineering and the wider business to innovate and produce new ideas.
• Driving design discussions to solve real world problems and deliver on business goals.

Details: The tech stack is predominantly Typescript, Node and React with some Rust on GCP, Kubernetes, GraphQL; they are open to engineers from any background.
