Job: Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on designing and developing core platform features, including AI/ML-powered capabilities like sentiment analysis for engagement data and predictive workforce analytics
  • Architect scalable, modular solutions across key areas such as onboarding automation, employee engagement, and workforce scheduling
  • Partner closely with Product and Design teams to shape technical requirements and align on scope
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across the full stack
  • Mentor and support junior engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and pair programming
  • Continuously improve CI/CD workflows, system observability, and overall platform performance at scale

What we’re seeking

  • 10+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer, building and maintaining complex web applications
  • Experience touching across React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python and AWS
  • Strong track record of contributing to technical architecture and designing scalable systems
  • Operate with a strong sense of urgency, always aligning efforts with what matters most to the business
  • Product-minded with a user-first approach to solving problems
  • Passionate builder who’s constantly looking for ways to improve systems, tools, and processes
  • Excellent communicator who can simplify complex topics for a range of audiences
