Job: Staff Software Engineer
Responsibilities
- Take the lead on designing and developing core platform features, including AI/ML-powered capabilities like sentiment analysis for engagement data and predictive workforce analytics
- Architect scalable, modular solutions across key areas such as onboarding automation, employee engagement, and workforce scheduling
- Partner closely with Product and Design teams to shape technical requirements and align on scope
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across the full stack
- Mentor and support junior engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and pair programming
- Continuously improve CI/CD workflows, system observability, and overall platform performance at scale
What we’re seeking
- 10+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer, building and maintaining complex web applications
- Experience touching across React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python and AWS
- Strong track record of contributing to technical architecture and designing scalable systems
- Operate with a strong sense of urgency, always aligning efforts with what matters most to the business
- Product-minded with a user-first approach to solving problems
- Passionate builder who’s constantly looking for ways to improve systems, tools, and processes
- Excellent communicator who can simplify complex topics for a range of audiences
