This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and proactive engineer to join a dynamic maintenance team.DetailsLocation: DundeeContract: 8-week temporary positionHours: 38-40 hours per week, Monday to FridayPay: Between GBP 18 and GBP 19 per hourKey Duties IncludePlanned and reactive maintenance of mechanical plant and equipment, including pumps, valves, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), and associated pipework.Routine inspections and repairs of systems, including basic steam systems and general plumbing.Operating and monitoring the Building Management System to assist with fault diagnosis and ensure optimal performance.Management of on-site sub-contractors and adherence to established health and safety procedures, including the use of Permit to Work systems.Accurate documentation of all work carried out, maintaining maintenance records and updating the helpdesk system.Skills And Experience We’re Looking ForA qualified mechanical tradesperson i.e. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.Experience in pipe-fitting and general property maintenance.Experience in HVAC control systems.Familiarity with environmental and building management systems (EMS/BMS).Experience with L8 water management and Permit to Work systems.Proficiency with various PC packages.A valid driving licence.Must hold a current/active PVG.If you have a strong mechanical background and are looking for a short-term contract, we encourage you to apply.
