Salary: £150,000-£250,000 + Bonus

The role:

My client are seeking a Storage Platform Engineer to join their team.

You will predominantly work on highly complex Storage Systems across various vendors.

Automation via Python is a key part of the position, contributing alongside other Platform teams to the overall Platform Automation

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and deploy a wide array of Storage systems
• Managing huge petabyte scale Storage systems
• Managing and monitoring Linux estate
• Extensive project work

Experience required:

• Strong experience working with Linux
• Weka, Vast, NetApp, Dell, EMC and various other vendors
• Experience working in Python for Platform Automation

Desirable skills:

• Experience of working with either Chef or Ansible for configuration management
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Agile practices
• Observability – ELK, Prometheus, Grafana
• Degree in relevant subject
