Role: Structural Engineer Location: London Salary: £39,000 to £48,000 Ref: MB735 Join a growing structural engineering team where your expertise will shape high-end residential developments while advancing your chartered status with structured mentorship and career support. Our client is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join a growing structural engineering team in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-end residential projects, from new build developments to refurbishment and affordable housing schemes. It is a split of 80% residential and 20% commercial, with support to become chartered and a salary of up to £48,000 benefits. Overview · Prepare structural and drainage designs with supporting calculations for new build and renovation projects · Carry out structural inspections, report on defects, and recommend remedial works · Conduct site visits and attend design team meetings to monitor progress and address technical queries · Develop UK residential drainage designs in accordance with current standards and regulations · Liaise with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver design solutions that meet project requirements · Ensure compliance with building regulations and relevant standards across all design work · Assist in the preparation of design reports, planning documents, and project specifications · Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members Salary & Benefits · Salary: £39,000 - £48,000 · 20 Days Holiday Bank Holidays 10 days leave at Christmas - No holiday has to be taken! · Gym Membership · Quarterly bonuses · Pension · Structured mentorship & training towards chartered status · Career development opportunities · Hybrid working upon the completion of probation Requirements · A relevant degree (BSc or equivalent) within Civil or Structural Engineering · Minimum of 2 years of professional experience, preferably in the residential sector · A proven track record of producing structural designs and supporting calculations · Experience of Tekla Tedds and AutoCAD · A desire to work towards ICE or IStructE chartered status · Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage projects and deliver client satisfaction · Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams What to do next: If you are interested in this Structural Engineer position in London, then please click on the link to apply.
