We're representing a forward-thinking structural consultancy at the forefront of digital surveying and reporting. With four offices across the UK and a 35-strong team, they are expanding in the Northwest and seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their innovative, tech-led environment. This business specialises in

structural inspections, defect diagnosis, building pathology, insurance reporting, and remedial design -with a strong focus on the residential sector and additional exposure to commercial and historic properties. Using cutting-edge technology such as live digital site reporting, they deliver efficient, accurate solutions and are growing rapidly with excellent opportunities for career development. What's on offer: Salary £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE, more for senior)

The role: Carry out structural inspections and diagnose building defects

Produce live digital reports and specify remedial works

Oversee insurance claim reporting (subsidence, fire, storm damage)

Work with residential, commercial, and historic buildings

Liaise with insurers, contractors, and clients to ensure quality delivery

Report directly to the Associate Director

About you: Experienced in structural inspections and building defect diagnosis

MIStructE or MICE preferred (not essential)

Background in insurance claims and/or historic buildings beneficial

Confident working independently with excellent communication skills

Based in the Northwest, with full UK driving licence and access to a car
